CHSL 2026 Tier 1 answer key — not out yet
The CHSL 2026 Tier 1 exam is proposed for 30 November to 31 December 2026, and SSC posts the tentative answer key only after the exam. So there is no 2026 key yet, and SSC hasn’t announced a release date. For CHSL 2025, SSC reviewed the challenges to both the Tier 1 and Tier 2 keys and used the final keys to prepare the results.
Download the key from the official SSC portal by logging in with your SSC credentials. Challenges are accepted only online, within the time SSC allows, and only on payment of the fee. Use the window if you spot a wrong key.

Calculate your expected score
Compare your response sheet with the answer key and apply the Tier 1 marking scheme. Tier 1 has 100 questions worth 2 marks each, a total of 200 marks.
Score = (Correct × 2) − (Wrong × 0.5)
Count your correct and wrong answers on the response sheet and put them into the formula. Unattempted questions score zero. Your official score will be normalized across shifts, so it may differ slightly from this raw score.
Tier 2 uses a different scheme: 3 marks per question and −1 for each wrong answer in Sections I, II and III. Merit is based on Sections I and II (360 marks). For comparison, the CHSL 2025 Tier 1 cut-off for LDC/JSA (UR) was 144.26 out of 200 in normalized marks.
