Overview

What JobSafal offers for CHSL PYQs

SSC doesn’t publish a year-wise archive of CHSL question papers. After each exam it puts up tentative answer keys on ssc.gov.in, and after the result it uploads the final keys. So save them when they appear. Inside JobSafal, the CHSL PYQ section gives you timed practice sets drawn from our question bank in the CHSL Tier 1 format.

Why they matter

Why solving PYQs works

Reading past questions isn’t enough. You need to solve them against the clock. Here’s what that practice gives you:

See the real pattern

You see the style, difficulty and phrasing of exam-level questions before the exam.

Find high-yield topics

Your mistakes show which syllabus areas deserve the most time.

Build exam speed

CHSL Tier 1 is 100 questions in 60 minutes, with a 15-minute timer for each section. Timed sets build that pace.

Benchmark yourself

Compare each score with the last official cut-off, which was 144.26/200 for LDC/JSA (UR) in CHSL 2025.

Do it right

How to use previous year papers

Downloading a PDF won’t change your score. This routine will.

  1. Attempt full, timedDo a whole set in one sitting against the clock, as you would in the real exam.
  2. Review every mistakeGo through the answers and note why each wrong answer went wrong.
  3. Tag weak topicsGroup your errors by syllabus topic to find the two or three areas costing you the most marks.
  4. Drill those topicsPractise the weak topics on their own, then attempt another set.
  5. Track the trendWatch your score across sets. It should climb toward the cut-off and then past it.

FAQ

PYQ questions, answered

Six timed, PYQ-style practice sets for SSC CHSL. Sets 1 and 2 have 100 questions in 60 minutes, sets 3 and 4 have 80 questions in 50 minutes, and sets 5 and 6 have 65 questions in 45 minutes. They are generated from JobSafal’s question bank in the CHSL format and are not scanned papers from specific years.
SSC doesn’t keep a year-wise archive of question papers. After each computer-based exam, it posts tentative answer keys on ssc.gov.in, which you can view with your login. Final answer keys are uploaded after the result. Download and save them when they appear.
Do both. Past questions show you what gets asked, and mocks keep you sharp on the current pattern. Use practice sets to find your weak topics, then use full mocks to build speed for 100 questions in 60 minutes.
Yes. You can attempt JobSafal practice sets in English or Hindi. In the real exam, the English Language section is set in English only.
Solve every set under exam conditions and review each one thoroughly. A careful review matters more than the number of sets. With Tier 1 proposed to start on 30 November 2026, plan your sets across the weeks you have left.
Exact questions rarely repeat. The syllabus stays the same, though, so the same kinds of question come up again. That’s why practising by topic pays off.
